Academics

Pioneering the Industry By Making Academics the #1 Priority!
If academics are not a priority you need not apply!

In the past 14 years: Our athletes have a College Graduation Rate of 98%! We have 3 Travers Award Winners And 6 Runner Ups! High School Graduation rate 100% and over 200 members of The National Honor Society.  Our Middle School Program boasts 97% Honor Students

It takes more than athletic ability to become successful, you WILL be held accountable! Give me an athlete who is as concerned about their academics as they are about their athletics and I’ll show you someone destined for success! Long after the competition of the game and the thrill of victory there will be challenges that have more to do with brains than brawn. Our standards and our expectations are demanding, just like our training. If you think that “getting by” is acceptable we may not be the facility for you. It’s OK though, any other health club or workout spa in the area will gladly take your money, regardless of how well you do in the classroom.

Because academics play such an important part in our program we can arrange tutoring for those in need.

In operation since 2000, Bob Forry, or “Sarge” has helped thousands of student athletes attain goals in the classroom and on the playing surface. Recognized nationally as a somewhat non-conventional strength, speed and sports conditioning expert, he has coached numerous elite and professional athletes, as well as collegiate national champions and All-Americans. Sarge knows what it takes and what works to maximize athletic potential. Sarge is a certified S.S.C. through the International Sports Science Association. Over 27 years of experience in the areas of powerlifting, strength training and nutrition are combined with Marine Corps physical and psychological philosophy’s.

We train “movements” not “muscles” and utilize programs that are specific to the individual and their sport. Teaching the fundamentals and lifelong training techniques are the goal. This facility is for anyone who wants a healthier lifestyle, not just professional football players. Body types, injuries and maturity are all factored into the system we design for you.

Strength Training

Speed & Agility

The key to everything we do is the neuromuscular system. The muscles and nerves must be educated not only on how to move, but how fast to movescreen13 (MAXIMIZE). We teach the elimination of wasted motion (MINIMIZE). All of the training is very specific to the movements demanded in the sport. The athlete that moves the best is often the most powerful player. We are first and foremost movement specialists, teaching athletes to maximize efficiency every step of the way. We will improve your speed, power and agility – the three pillars of athleticism.

SGT4E Smart-Speed System – Taxing the body and challenging the mind!

Coaches don’t always need the fastest player, they need someone mentally focused who won’t crumble when times are tough. Multiple commands during physical exhaustion-being able to think on your feet and react in a split second. No two speed workouts are ever the same!

This system was designed after being taught for over 4 years by the “Speed Doctor” Chuck Mound, the man most notably famous for running a 4:21 forty yard dash at Rutgers University. This feat is only outdone by his work and professionalism demonstrated with the Elite College Combines in New Jersey and surrounding states.

We set the bar on this program! The participants of this program are now successful Division1, 2 and 3 football players, male and female basketball players, field hockey players, swimmers, soccer, lacrosse, volleyball, etc. Some are now Coaches, married, and a few have children that they bring to do the same type of training they did many years ago.Middle School Training

Open growth plates, spinal cords that are not yet fully developed, peer pressures, puberty, developing a sense of self, building a positive self image, sounds like a health class right? Wrong! This is the middle school program and those are the things that are addressed in each session. This is an entry level strength – speed – agility class designed to prepare these young athletes for high school. These 1 hour classes focus on safety and form, lifelong training techniques and strength training that will build muscle around ligaments and tendons to PREVENT INJURY. This is a supervised and structured class and each member is given direction and guidance in a semi-private setting. During each session I have local athletes who shadow the students and monitor the volume and intensity of their workout. The added bonus provided is the self confidence and pride these young male and female athletes develop in the 8 week session.

All members must produce their report cards!
