February 02, 2009 - LAUREN BOYER ALL AMERICAN AGAIN

As a student athlete it is important to understand that hard work and excellence are defining characteristics with-in our ability to be the best of the best.  As a junior on Cumberland Valley's soccer team, I realized that I was very talented since I started for two years straight, but I needed more of an edge on the competition.  I needed discipline, an increase in speed, strength, endurance, and quickness in order to maximize my potential.  I turned to Bob and he provided me with all the tools necessary to take my game to another level.  Working out with Bob elevated all aspects of my game and made me into not only a First Team All League defender for four years at West Chester, but also an all American for my final two seasons.  Every summer when I returned from school, I knew that if I wanted to be the best, I had to work with the best and continued working with Bob.  Even though Bob provided me with the work outs and tools that were needed, the most important thing he taught me was that, " Strength is not measured by one's physical capacity, yet one's indomitable will!"
